All edible butterflies are made with vegan, kosher, gluten free, dairy free wafer paper made from potato starch, palm or olive oil, water and vanilla - (yes, vanilla but please note that these butterflies are tasteless, flavorless and do not taste like vanilla - Vanilla is just listed in the confectioners wafer paper ingredient list.) Our edible food-grade glitter is made from mica pigments - It is SO PRETTY and we definitely recommend adding this to elevate your creations even more! It really does make the wings sparkle!
PLEASE DO NOT REFRIDGERATE. Handle with dry hands, as water will cause the butterflies to dissolve . Oil based adhesives (such as frosting) and sugar based adhesives (such as sugar syrup) work best to attach the butterflies to your creations.
